The goal of the 2015 selection was to ensure that all remaining toys from the Vintage line were made in Classics form. A Club 200X mini subscription was also sold. The Heads of Eternia set occupied the exclusive slot.

LIZARD MAN

HEROIC COLD BLOODED ALLY

A fairly plain cartoon figure. The webbing on the left hand is quite good though. The included accessories are Skeletor’s sword from the cartoon and an artefact called the Diamond Ray of Disappearance.

NINJA WARRIOR (NINJOR)

EVIL NINJA MASTER

This Classics figure was released as Ninja Warrior due to copyright issues but he is obviously Ninjor of the Vintage line. A second head and a number of weapons accessories were included. A good figure.

SNAKE ARMOR HE-MAN

MOST POWERFUL SNAKE HUNTER IN THE UNIVERSE

Snake Armor He-Man was released in a two-pack with Battle Armor King Hssss (next entry). This is a very good figure who was based on a variant design from the 200X era.

BATTLE ARMOR KING HSSSS

SLITHERING LEADER OF THE SNAKE MEN

An interesting update to King Hssss, this figure is based on a 200X-era design. The elaborate snake form was not, to the annoyance of fans, included in the box. It was released in 2016 as Serpentine King Hssss.

HUNTARA

COURAGEOUS SILAXIAN WARRIOR

Huntara first appeared in the She-Ra cartoon. The figure is a fairly simple design but slots on the back accommodate the energy blades. The axe accessory was meant for Oo-Larr (next entry).

OO-LARR

THE JUNGLE HE-MAN

This is He-Man as he appeared in the He-Man and the Power Sword minicomic. He became a separate character with a new name in the Classics storyline. The axe was not included but came with Huntara. A superb figure.

ANGELLA

ANGELIC WINGED GUIDE

Angella is a figure who is supposed to be angelic by nature but actually looks terrifying due to the staring face. A mediocre character from the Princess of Power era.

SPIRIT OF GRAYSKULL

HEROIC GUARDIAN OF POWER

A glow-in-the dark version of King Grayskull. The face is darker than the rest of the body which affects the glowing feature. He’s meant to represent the ghost of the character who haunts Castle Grayskull.

HOVER ROBOTS

EVIL MINDLESS ROBOT GOONS

The Hover Robots were tools of Skeletor in the cartoon. Three units were included in the box. A variety of hand accessories allow different posing options. Lenticular panels are featured. Stickers give damage-mark options.

BLAST ATTAK

EVIL BLAST APART ROBOT

Blast Attak is a nicely detailed version of the character. He was linked to the Snake Men for the Classics line. He does not split apart but has a pretend slot on his back in acknowledgement of the Vintage feature.

SSSQUEEZE

EVIL LONG ARMED VIPER

Sssqueeze has flexible arms to allow him to capture enemies. The material works rather well but should not be over-used. He’s one of the weirdest characters but oddly appealing.

MULTI-BOT

EVIL ROBOT OF A THOUSAND BODIES

Multi-Bot is an Evil Horde figure who is very similar in Classics form to his Vintage design. The components can be taken apart and assembled in various ways. The practical options are limited.

PEEKABLUE

WATCHFUL FEATHERED FRIEND

Peekablue is an odd character who comes from the Princess of Power line. The Classics figure has an unsightly plug which connects the feather display to her back. It makes her rather unstable when posing.

CALLIX

EVIL HORDE ROCK MAN

Callix is a superb figure from the Cub 200X mini subscription. The axe accessory cleverly doubles up as an Evil Horde crossbow. Using a weather-worn look on the Horde symbols was a very clever design choice.

ROTAR

HEROIC MASTER OF HYPER-SPIN

Rotar includes the parts to replicate his Vintage spinning-top look but also has a standard pair of legs. He was part of a two-pack with Twistoid (next entry). The packaging swapped their names by accident.

TWISTOID

EVIL ENERGY CYBORG

Twistoid includes the parts to replicate his Vintage spinning-top look but also has a standard pair of legs. He was part of a two-pack with Rotar. The packaging swapped their names by accident.

MARA OF PRIMUS

HEROIC AMBASSADOR OF PEACE

Mara comes from the He-Man (New Adventures) animated series. The figure includes a hair extension element. She’s quite a good character in Classics form.

BUZZ SAW HORDAK

RUTHLESS LEADER WITH BLASTER BLADE

Buzz Saw Hordak has a chest cavity which accommodates the weapon accessory. He is very similar to the regular Hordak figure from 2009 but remains an interesting variant.

EVIL SEED

EVIL MASTER OF PLANTS

Classics Evil Seed is a great design. The character originated in the He-Man cartoon but was redesigned for 200X media, and it is the later incarnation which is the basis for the figure.

SAUROD

EVIL SPARK SHOOTING REPTILE

Saurod is another movie character who appeared at the end of the Vintage line. The Classics version is highly detailed but the green reptilian skin poking out from the trunks look weird.

KING CHOOBLAH

HEROIC KING OF THE KULATAKS

An interesting character from the 200X era with oversized body parts. The shading on the fur gives this figure a lot of character. The figure probably looks more friendly than it’s meant to be.

PERFUMA

SCENT-SATIONAL FLOWER MAIDEN

There are some very intricate and impressive designs on Perfuma’s clothes. The bright pink colour is too vivid though. The gun accessory is absurdly oversized and heavy and cannot be held by the figure.

CERATUS

HEROIC LEADER OF SUB-TERNIA

Ceratus is quite an impressive figure. Perhaps there should have been a bit more sculpting to detach him from his cartoon origin in the 200X era.

TERROR CLAWS SKELETOR

EVIL LEADER WITH THE CLAW-SWINGING ACTION

Terror Claws Skeletor is a reasonable version of the Classic line’s main antagonist. A steel-blue skin tone is used on this figure which makes his stand apart from the regular Skeletor figures in the line.

FLYING FISTS HE-MAN

HEROIC LEADER WITH ARM-SWINGING ACTION

Flying Fists He-Man is a very good variant figure. The armour design is impressive. It’s a big step forward from the clumsy Vintage toy. The weapon is rather heavy for the figure and has the habit of causing the grip to loosen.

DRAGSTOR

TRANSFORMING EVIL WARRIOR VEHICLE

Dragstor is an Evil Horde character. His Classics version is a reasonably close replica of the Vintage toy. The original ripcord has been redesigned into the axe accessory.

QUEEN GRAYSKULL

HEROIC GUARDIAN OF POWER

Queen Grayskull is an interesting sorceress character from the 200X era. The Classics toy is nicely sculpted but struggles to stand properly when the wings are attached.

TEELA

HEROIC CAPTAIN OF THE ROYAL GUARD

This version of Teela was included with the Point Dread & Talon Fighter set. The figure was meant to have Teela’s cartoon appearance. Unfortunately the design was a total failure. She’s one of the worst figures in the line.

HE-RO II

HEROIC SON OF HE-MAN

He-Ro II is a good figure. He was apparently dreamt up as a protagonist for a spin-off cartoon which never got off the ground. Two sets of well-designed armour provide alternative display options.

PRAHVUS

EVIL MASTER OF DOOM

Prahvus is a character from 200X-era media. The demon head is fairly generic but he’s still an interesting figure. Some more intricate sculpting on the face and shoulder armour would have been welcome.

LASER POWER HE-MAN

HEROIC MASTER OF LIGHT ENERGY

Laser Power He-Man was sold in a two-pack with Laser Light Skeletor (next entry). There’s no ankle articulation which, when combined with the battery pack, makes posing the figure rather difficult.

LASER LIGHT SKELETOR

EVIL MASTER OF LIGHT ENERGY

Laser Light Skeletor was sold with Laser Power He-Man. The sculpt is very impressive but he cannot be posed well because there is absolutely no movement in the ankles.
